Laser cleaning for defense hardware from a veteran-owned Colorado shop, with straight answers about what we can and cannot take on
Aerospace Laser Cleaning is a veteran-owned laser cleaning job shop on the I-25 corridor in Monument, working with fabricators, machine shops, coaters and restorers in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Peyton, Falcon, Fountain and the wider Colorado Front Range. Parts come in, are cleaned in our shop, inspected and documented, and go back.
Aerospace Laser Cleaning is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business operating a laser cleaning shop in Monument, Colorado. We hold an active SAM.gov registration and CAGE code 16LY0, which makes us straightforward to add as a supplier or lower-tier subcontractor on defense work.
We are a job shop, not a coatings house or an approved repair station. We hold no process certifications, and we will say so in writing rather than let a certification requirement pass unnoticed into a purchase order. If your part carries a process spec we cannot sign off on, we will tell you before you ship it.
Work typically comes from primes, subcontractors, and maintenance operations holding hardware that needs cleaning without abrasive media or chemical stripping.
Some defense parts carry handling requirements that have nothing to do with the cleaning process itself. Raise them at intake, not after the part arrives.
Send the part, base material, coating or contaminant, severity, quantity, and any applicable process spec or handling requirement. Photos help us judge access and condition.
Parts ship in, are cleaned in our Colorado shop, inspected, documented, and shipped back. All work happens in the shop.
Yes. We are an SDVOSB with an active SAM.gov registration and CAGE code 16LY0, which makes us straightforward to set up as a supplier or lower-tier subcontractor.
No. We are a job shop and hold no process certifications. If your part requires a certified process, tell us at intake and we will confirm in writing whether we can accept the work rather than let the requirement slip through.
Military coatings are assessed case by case on the actual part, since layer count, substrate, and any hazardous content all affect whether the work is a fit. Send photos and the coating details with your request.
Identify any export control or controlled technical data requirement before intake. We will confirm in writing whether we can accept the part instead of taking it in and finding out later.
There is no media to recover from threads, box sections, or blind cavities, no chemical waste stream, and no dimensional loss on mating surfaces.
