Laser cleaning services

One process, six common jobs. Every part is assessed for suitability before work starts, and nothing here is priced online — the request form produces a request, not a quote.

Rust & oxidation removal — machined part shown part-cleaned in a precision shop

Rust & oxidation removal

Rust, mill scale and corrosion lifted off steel and cast iron without media, slurry or dimensional loss. The substrate underneath is left intact, so tolerances and surface geometry survive the process.

Steel · cast iron · weldments

Paint, film & coating removal — machined part shown part-cleaned in a precision shop

Paint, film & coating removal

Primer, topcoat, powder coat, adhesive residue and protective film removed selectively — whole part or a defined zone only, with a controlled edge where the coating stops.

Aluminum · steel · masked zones

Oxide & heat-tint removal — machined part shown part-cleaned in a precision shop

Oxide & heat-tint removal

Weld heat tint, discoloration and thin oxide layers cleared from stainless and alloy surfaces, returning a uniform matte finish without grinding the parent metal.

Stainless · titanium · alloys

Weld preparation — machined part shown part-cleaned in a precision shop

Weld preparation

Joints cleaned to bright metal in a precise band before welding, and spatter or tint cleared afterwards. Repeatable coverage on production runs, no abrasive contamination introduced to the joint.

Pre-weld · post-weld · fixtures

Surface preparation — machined part shown part-cleaned in a precision shop

Surface preparation

Controlled micro-texturing and cleaning ahead of bonding, coating or inspection. Consistent, documented parameters per part so the next process step sees the same surface every time.

Pre-bond · pre-coat · pre-NDT

Mold & tooling cleaning — machined part shown part-cleaned in a precision shop

Mold & tooling cleaning

Residue, release agent build-up and carbon removed from molds, dies and tooling with fine engraved detail preserved — no bead blasting of cavity edges.

Scope

What we don’t do

  • No on-site or mobile cleaning. This is an in-shop operation. Parts come to the shop and go back out — we do not travel to clean installed equipment or structures.
  • No online pricing. Scope, material and condition drive everything, so a person reviews each request before quoting.
  • No blind commitments on unusual substrates. Thin foils, some plated and anodized finishes, certain plastics and composites may not be suitable. We test or decline.
  • No guessing on flight- or safety-critical parts. Flag it on the request form and we confirm handling and process limits with you in writing first.

Turnaround: scheduling depends on current shop load, part count and condition. We give you an estimated window with your quote — we do not publish turnaround times we cannot honor for every job.

Send us the part — we’ll tell you what’s possible.

Six short questions, photos optional. A person reads every request and replies from rfq@aerospacelaserclean.com.
