What is laser weld cleaning

Aerospace Laser Cleaning is a veteran-owned laser cleaning job shop on the I-25 corridor in Monument, working with fabricators, machine shops, coaters and restorers in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Peyton, Falcon, Fountain and the wider Colorado Front Range. Parts come in, are cleaned in our shop, inspected and documented, and go back.

Laser weld cleaning is a precision process used to remove oxidation, heat tint, and discoloration from welded metal surfaces. Using controlled laser energy, this method cleans weld seams without damaging the surrounding material or altering the weld integrity.

Laser weld cleaning uses a focused laser beam to remove surface oxidation and contaminants formed during the welding process. The laser selectively targets the contamination layer while preserving the base material and weld structure.
