Industrial Parts & Equipment Cleaning

Industrial laser cleaning for equipment and components requiring controlled removal of rust, coatings, and residues

What is industrial laser cleaning

Aerospace Laser Cleaning is a veteran-owned laser cleaning job shop on the I-25 corridor in Monument, working with fabricators, machine shops, coaters and restorers in Colorado Springs, Castle Rock, Peyton, Falcon, Fountain and the wider Colorado Front Range. Parts come in, are cleaned in our shop, inspected and documented, and go back.

Industrial laser cleaning is a precision cleaning process used to remove rust, coatings, contaminants, and residues from industrial equipment and components without damaging the underlying material. This method is ideal for manufacturing, heavy equipment, and production environments where surface integrity and consistency are critical.

Industrial laser cleaning uses a high-intensity laser to remove contaminants such as rust, paint, oils, and oxides from metal and industrial surfaces. The laser is calibrated to target the unwanted layer, preserving the base material and maintaining tolerances.

Applications

Industrial laser cleaning is used across a wide range of applications:

  • Manufacturing equipment and production lines
  • Heavy machinery and industrial components
  • Surface preparation prior to coating or welding
  • Removal of rust, paint, grease, and residues
  • Maintenance of molds, tools, and fixtures

Benefits of industrial laser cleaning

  • Non-abrasive and non-contact process
  • No chemicals or blasting media required
  • Preserves surface integrity and tolerances
  • High precision and repeatable results
  • Minimal waste and cleanup

Compatible materials

  • Steel
  • Stainless steel
  • Aluminum
  • Industrial alloys
  • Coated and treated metal surfaces

Results

Industrial laser cleaning delivers consistent, controlled results by removing the contamination layer while leaving the base material unchanged. Surfaces are left clean, uniform, and ready for further processing such as coating, bonding, or inspection.

Our process

Parts ship in, are cleaned in our Colorado shop, inspected, documented, and shipped back.

  1. Evaluation of material and contamination level
  2. Parameter setup for industrial application
  3. Controlled laser cleaning process
  4. Final inspection and quality verification
